Individual Events Showcase

Individual Events (IEs) is a program that offers Thespians the opportunity to perform or present their prepared theatrical work to professional theatre-makers and receive constructive feedback. 

All inducted Mississippi Thespians are encouraged to enter and all entries that gain superior ratings are featured in the IE Showcase at MS Thescon.

The performance Individual Events include: monologue, duet acting, group acting, solo musical theatre, duet musical theatre, and group musical theatre.

The technical Individual Events include: costume construction, costume design, lighting design, scenic design, short film, sound design, stage management, and theatre marketing.

Thespians whose IEs gain superior ratings at the state level are also invited to present their IE at the International Thespian Festival in Lincoln, Nebraska. The National Individual Events program culminates at the IE Judges' Showcase featuring IEs that gain superior ratings at the national level.
