Hello theatre educators!

We are excited to announce that registration for the 2019 Mississippi Junior Thespian Festival is now open.

The festival will take place on Thursday, February 21st at Pearl High School. We would love to have you join us for an exciting day of workshops, performance opportunities, and fellowship for middle school theatre students and educators.

Registration is $30.00 per student. This price includes lunch (pizza and drink) and a festival T-shirt. Sponsors, directors, and teachers attending with student groups may attend at no cost. Those who wish to may stay for the high school ThesCon at the additional cost of $20 per students. There they may attend one act performances, participate in workshops, and perform IE's for adjudication. ThesCon takes place on Friday, February 22nd, and Saturday, February 23rd. Registration is due no later than January 4th.

We are also inviting all groups that attend Mississippi Junior Thespian Festival to perform in our Junior Showcase. We know there are amazing things happening in middle school and junior high theatre. We would love to have each school represent themselves by performing a 15 minute scene or musical number. Floor mics and basic lighting will be available.
